Zingg runs inside Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Google Cloud or AWS and matches your tables where they are. No pipelines out, no second copy to secure or sync.
Zingg runs in the notebooks, Python and SQL your team already uses. Keep the configuration in Git, schedule it with Airflow or Workflows, and monitor it with the logs and alerts you already watch.
| Feature | Zingg | Tilores |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Inside your Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Google Cloud or AWS account, on your compute | An entity store, managed on AWS or deployed in your own AWS account, another cloud or on-premises |
| Cost of moving data | None. No pipelines out, no second copy | Records flow into the Tilores entity store, SaaS or self-hosted: pipelines and a second copy to keep in sync |
| Your data | Stays in your tables. Zingg reads them in place and writes resolved IDs back | Records flow into the Tilores entity graph |
| How it matches | Learns blocking and matching models from 40–50 pairs you label; Enterprise adds deterministic rules in the same run | Explicit, auditable rules with fuzzy matching, in real time |
| When it resolves | In batch runs as part of your pipeline; Enterprise resolves only new and changed records, as often as your data lands | In real time, as records arrive |
| Access | Tables in your platform, read by any tool | GraphQL API over the entity graph |
| Open source | Open source core plus Zingg Enterprise | No. Proprietary; its SDKs are published on GitHub |
| Pricing | Community is free; Enterprise is priced per deployment | Quote on request, based on the number of resolved customer records, deployment model and support; Tilores Studio is free up to 100,000 records |
| Who runs it | Data teams, with their own notebooks, Git, orchestration and monitoring | Developers, through its GraphQL API |
| Best for | Starting with one use case and growing into one identity layer for the whole enterprise | Single-department use cases that need real-time lookups through an API |
Yes. The Zingg Python API (pip install zingg, or zinggEC for Enterprise) configures, labels, trains and runs matching from your notebooks and pipelines, and the same settings work as a JSON configuration from the command line. Zingg writes resolved IDs to your tables, so applications and tools read them with SQL or your data platform's own APIs. Tilores' GraphQL API serves lookups and searches on its entity store; Zingg's API runs resolution over whole tables, and real-time resolution is coming soon.
Zingg Enterprise resolves new and changed records incrementally against existing clusters, as often as your pipeline runs. It runs as a pipeline step rather than an API that resolves each record as it arrives.
Tilores Studio runs locally and is free up to 100,000 records, according to Tilores.
