Sites, warehouses, stores and delivery points are recorded differently in every system: abbreviated streets, missing units, different site codes. Planning and logistics then treat one place as several.
Four delivery points on the route plan. The trucks all arrive at the same dock.
A distribution center has a code in the warehouse system, a stop name in transport planning, a ship-to address in the ERP and another in supplier portals. Addresses are abbreviated differently, suite numbers come and go, and site names follow local habits.
Logistics and planning work on these records as if they were separate places. Inventory for one site is split between codes, route plans contain duplicate stops, freight costs cannot be compared site by site, and network planning starts from a map with more locations than really exist.
Address standardization helps with formatting but does not decide that “DC-07 Reno” and “Reno Distribution Ctr” are the same site. That takes matching across names, addresses and codes together.
One physical site appears as several locations in planning and reporting.
Stock and shipments for one site are spread over several codes.
Freight and handling costs per site cannot be compared or totalled.
Resolve location records across systems into one entity per real site, using names, codes and addresses together. Standardize addresses as part of matching, but let the match decide whether two records are the same place.
Give each site a stable ID that warehouse, transport, ERP and planning systems can all reference, and keep new and changed locations joining the right site over time.
Inventory, shipments and costs for the site now add up in one place.
Every code, stop and ship-to for the same place shares one ID.
Warehouse, transport and planning data join on the same site.
New sites and address changes resolve as they arrive.
Zingg runs as a workload inside your data platform and gives every entity one persistent ZINGG_ID. Everything above it reads the same resolved entities.

Train Zingg on your own location data, matching on names, codes and address fields.
Zingg Enterprise can standardize fields as part of the flow and match on the standardized values.
Each resolved location keeps the same ID across runs. ZINGG_ID
Location data is resolved where your supply chain data already lives.
No. Standardization makes addresses look consistent. Mastering decides which records are the same real place, using names, codes and addresses together.
Any you describe with fields: warehouses, distribution centers, stores, plants, offices, delivery points or customer sites.
Yes. ZINGG_IDs persist, and new or updated records join the location they match.
No. Zingg matches the fields you have. If you geocode, coordinates can be one of the fields it matches on.
Resolve sites and addresses in your own data platform.
